Service frequency
A schedule proposal has been designed in order to make assessments in connection with the EIA for stage 1 of the LRT. The final schedule will not be prepared until the initialization of the project, and it will depend on a number of factors including the urban development in Lisbjerg and the development in the number of passengers within the public transport system towards 2015. As an example a final schedule might contain two trains per hour through Risskov.
The preliminary frequency for stage 1 of the Light Rail Transit system can be seen from the illustrations below.

When the LRT is established in 2015, a 30-minute service is planned for the outer section Tranbjerg - Odder, equal to the present service, while 3 trains per hour are scheduled for the Lystrup - Hornslet stretch. For the sections Tranbjerg - Aarhus H and Aarhus H - Lystrup 15 min. services are planned, while 5-minute service is planned from Aarhus H to Aarhus University Hospital, Skejby during the day time.
