Aarhus Airport - Route 925X

Remember to check regularly that the bus is running – the timetable can change up to 24 hours beforehand. The travel guarantee does not cover timetable changes that have been announced in advance.

Departure times from Aarhus Airport are approximate:

• Calls are made in the arrivals hall twice, 5 min. before departure and 3 min. before departure.

• The bus driver will call airport security to make sure that all passengers have passed through the arrivals area.

• If all passengers have exited the bus, the bus does not need to wait until the scheduled departure time.*

*This no longer applies from 26 October 2026. From this date, the bus must wait until the departure time specified in the timetable.

The timetable is basically aligned with flight departure times and Aarhus Airport’s check-in times. Smaller flights are often serviced by bus together with larger flights, which can result in waiting time.

If flight times are changed, or if a flight is delayed, the bus departure times are changed accordingly, and if a flight is cancelled, the airport bus is likely to be cancelled as well.

From Aarhus Airport to Aarhus C: 
Boarding is only possible at Aarhus Airport. Note: Departure times are approximate.

From Aarhus C to Aarhus Airport: 
Stops for boarding only. It is not possible to get off the bus before Aarhus Airport.

Departure and arrival in Aarhus C takes place in the square Banegårdspladsen - next to the central station. Look for route number 925X.

The bus departure times are not planned until the flight departures and arrivals at Aarhus Airport have been decided. Therefore, bus departure times are only planned for the next 2-4 weeks. It is therefore not possible to search for a bus departure several months ahead.

The airport bus departure times are planned on the assumption that you have checked in online. It is your responsibility to decide whether the scheduled arrival time of the bus at the airport allows you enough time to comply with the requirements of the airline you are flying with, or whether you should take an earlier bus.

You can use Midttrafik’s travel guarantee if the bus is delayed by more than 20 minutes relative to the flight(s) the bus is scheduled to meet. The travel guarantee covers your taxi expenses up to 75 km.

Remember to ask the taxi driver for a receipt for the journey.

Luggage

If you are travelling with a lot of luggage or with special items of luggage, it is a good idea to take an earlier bus as check-in can take longer than normal.
