Sales of CommuterFlex (PendlerKlip) to stop on 30 September 2025
Sales of the multi trip transit ticket CommuterFlex (PendlerKlip) in the Midttrafik app will stop on 30 September 2025.
After this date, you have six months to use your last trips, i.e. until 31 March 2026.
Between now and when sales of CommuterFlex stop, it is only possible to have two active CommuterFlex multi trip tickets. If you already have more than two active tickets, you can, of course, use them.
Why CommuterFlex will no longer be sold
CommuterFlex started as a flexible alternative to the commuter pass during the coronavirus pandemic, when many people spent more time working from home.
Midttrafik is the only public transport authority to offer electronic CommuterFlex. When we switch from our own app to the nationwide apps Rejsebillet and Rejsekort as an app, unfortunately it will no longer be possible to offer CommuterFlex.
FAQs
If you often travel on the same stretch, for example to and from work, we recommend that you change to a transit ticket (pendlerkort).
You can also use Rejsekort as an app or look into whether DSB’s Pendler20 would be a good alternative.
It all depends on your travel patterns. We want to help you find the best alternative for your particular situation.
It’s important that you are able to use all your trips before 31 March 2026.
It is also to prevent money laundering.
You can use them in the Midttrafik app up to and including 31 March 2026.
If you don’t manage to use all your trips, you can have them refunded at cost price.
We are preparing a form which you must complete to receive your refund. More information on this will be available at a later date.
