Temporary special rule on refunds due to COVID-19

Normally, refunding a transit ticket costs a fee corresponding to the price for 8 days. However, this rule has temporarily been suspended for transit tickets purchased in the Midttrafik app up until 27 February 2022. This means that, for a temporary period, it is possible to obtain a refund for all the days left on your transit ticket.

If you wish to have your transit ticket refunded, please complete the form at the bottom of this page.

Write in the \"Questions and comments\" field that you would like to have your transit ticket refunded.

You can only use this option if you have the transit ticket in your Midttrafik app. (Simply complete the \"Telephone model\" and \"Version\" fields with an \"x\").
The refund is calculated from the date on which you complete the form. It might take a few days before your transit ticket is deactivated. You must not use your transit ticket once you have applied for a refund. If you do, you will no longer be entitled to a refund.

If you have the transit ticket on your Rejsekort, you should contact Rejsekort Customer Service.

If your transit ticket is in the DSB app or the Arriva app, you will need to contact them directly.

As we expect a high level of activity, it may take up to three months before the money is credited to your NemKonto.

Please note that you will not receive any confirmation from Midttrafik that the refund has been transferred to your NemKonto.

Before we refund the money to your NemKonto, we will collect your civil registration (CPR) number from the CPR register. We will not disclose your CPR number to any other party.

As a registree, you are always entitled to access the information we hold about you, and to have it rectified if it proves to be incorrect, cf. the Danish Act on the Processing of Personal Data (Persondataloven), Chapters 9 and 10.

Blocking your account

If you want to block your account, simply give the name, e-mail address and phone number provided when setting up the Midttrafik app. Enter ‘Block account’ under Question or Comment.
