If you come into contact with a ticket inspector on a bus or the Light Rail and you do not have the correct authorisation to travel, we will record your personal information. |
What type of information about you is processed? |
Date of birth, name, address, personal identification number, telephone number, email address, a copy of your ID, and your signature. |
What do we use the information for? |
If you are approached by an inspector on a bus or the Light Rail and you do not hold a valid ticket, we will process your personal data for the following purposes: to carry out ticket inspections, to issue a penalty fare to customers without valid travel documents, to handle any complaints regarding penalty fares, to collect and enforce payment of penalty fares and related fees, and to disclose the information for further debt collection or appeal proceedings |

Are there other recipients of this information? |
If you do not pay your penalty fare, we will disclose your information to Aarhus Municipality, which forwards unpaid fares to the Danish Debt Collection Agency (Gældsstyrelsen). |
How long do we keep your information for? |
Midttrafik retain your information for as long as necessary for the purposes described and in order to comply with our record-keeping obligations |
