Ticket checks: Information about our specific processing of your personal data

When and how do we collect your information? If you come into contact with a ticket inspector on the bus and you do not have the correct authorisation to travel, we will record your personal information.
What type of information about you is processed? Date of birth, name, address, CPR number, your signature.
What do we use the information for? Issuing fines, processing complaints about fines and collecting unpaid amounts.
What is the legal basis? Article 6(1)(e) of the General Data Protection Regulation – exercise of official authority. Section 11 of the Danish Data Protection Act Section (CPR no.)
Are there other recipients of this information? If you do not pay your fine, we will pass on your information to the City of Aarhus, Intrum Justita, which will initiate a reminder procedure, and to SKAT, which can recover the amount.
How long do we keep your information for? We store your information for as long as is necessary for the purposes described above and to comply with our duty to journalise information.
