What is a transport hub?

A transport hub is a place you can be driven to or from at a cheaper price.

You can certainly book a flextur dial-a-ride trip to a transport hub in a different municipality to where you live – the price is the same.

Transport hubs are found in many different places both inside and outside towns and cities. They can be found, for example, at bus terminals, train stations and bus stops. They can also be placed at locations where accessibility has been given a high priority by your municipality, for example at a sports hall or citizens’ service office. There will often be a car park nearby where you can be dropped off or collected.

The individual municipality decides the number and location of the transport hubs.

Why doesn’t a flextur dial-a-ride trip appear when I search on Rejseplanen?

You have searched for a trip where good public transport options already exist with bus, train or Letbanen. Therefore, you will be offered those possibilities first.

If you want to be sure of finding out whether it is possible to book a flextur, under “Adjust search” and “Means of transport” you can check “Telebus/flexbus/plustur/flexbus”.

It is also possible to book your flextur dial-a-ride service in the Flextrafik app or by calling us on tel. +45 87 40 83 00 (+ press 2).

Why is it more expensive to travel in a city zone?

In city zones, there are usually lots of options for travelling by bus, train or Letbanen. Therefore, it is more expensive to book a flextur trip in the area. If you are travelling to or from a transport hub in a city zone, the price is DKK 3 per km, min. DKK 22.

You can find an overview of city zones and transport hubs on the map on the flextur page
