What to do
Remember to buy your ticket before boarding. You must have an internet connection to purchase tickets or use a charge on your multi trip ticket. Purchased tickets and activated charges can be viewed offline.
You are responsible for ensuring that there is a possible scheduled departure to the selected zones as well as the date and time. Trips with flexbus must be booked separately no later than 1 hour before departure.
- Click on Create account
- Enter your details in all fields
- Choose a password (your password must contain at least four characters)
- Read and accept Midttrafik app’s Terms and conditions of use
- Connect a card to your account (Dankort, Visa/Dankort, Mastercard, Maestro, Visa, Visa Electron, American Express) or choose to pay using MobilePay. You must have a customer account with MobilePay and have their app installed on your device.
- Click on Buy ticket
- Select Ticket type, e.g. adult
- Select Number of zones or
- Enter start and end locations (e.g. Herning to Silkeborg)
- Select Date of departure and Departure time - as a standard it is ''now''
- Click on Continue and Approve purchase
- Your ticket is now available under Tickets and cards
- Click on Buy multi trip ticket
- Select Ticket type, e.g. adult
- Select Number of zones or click on Calculate number of zones
- Enter start and end locations (e.g. Herning to Silkeborg)
- Click on Continue and Approve purchase
- Your multi trip ticket is now available under Tickets and cards
- Click on Tickets and cards
- Select the multi trip ticket you wish to use
- Select number of charges
- Select start location, date and time
- Click on Continue and Approve purchase
- Your ticket is now available under Tickets and cards
You can no longer purchase commuter cards in the Midttrafik app. You need to buy your commuter card in the Rejsebillet app.
You can no longer purchase 'other tickets' in the Midttrafik app. You need to buy them in the Rejsebillet app under 'Special tickets'.
You can see an overview of valid and expired tickets and transit tickets under Tickets and cards. Simply click on an valid ticket to display it on the screen.
You can manage your personal details from here. For example, you can change your password, add a new card or change payment method.
