Sales of multi trip tickets to stop on 30 September 2025
Sales of multi trip tickets in the Midttrafik app will stop on 30 September 2025.
After this date, you have six months to use your last trips, i.e. until 31 March 2026.
Between now and when sales of multi trip tickets stop, it is only possible to have two active multi trip tickets. If you already have more than two active multi trip tickets, you can, of course, still use them.
Why multi trip tickets will no longer be sold
In 2018, the physical multi trip ticket made of card was phased out across all public transport authorities in Denmark. Back then, Midttrafik was the only transport authority that decided to offer a digital multi trip ticket.
In 2025 and 2026, we are switching to the nationwide apps Rejsebillet and Rejsekort as an app
When we switch from our own app to the national apps, unfortunately it will no longer be possible to offer multi trip tickets.

We recommend that you use Rejsekort as an app instead.
The price you pay when using multi trip tickets is actually the same as when you use Rejsekort – before any quantity and time-based discounts.
Some people will find that it’s more expensive, while others will find that it will be cheaper. It all depends on your travel patterns.
We want to help you find the best alternative.
It’s important that you are able to use all your trips before 31 March 2026.
It is also to prevent money laundering.
You can use them in the Midttrafik app up to and including 31 March 2026.
You can write to us using the form, and tell us which multi trip ticket you want to have refunded so you can buy a new ticket.
You can register children and young people below 18 years of age in Rejsekort as an app.
The price for multi trip tickets is the same as what you pay when using Rejsekort as an app. In addition, you can get quantity and time-based discounts.
It is easy to register your child in Rejsekort as an app. There are three steps:
- Download the app to your own smartphone and register yourself as a user
- Start registration of your child in your app
- Your child then concludes the registration in the app on their phone
If you don’t manage to use all your trips, you can have them refunded at cost price.
